Vacancy: Director of Music

We are looking to appoint a director of music to develop the musical side of our life at St Mary’s.  We would need someone who shares our evangelical convictions, would take a full and active part within the life of the church family, and who is comfortable with a breadth of musical styles from contemporary, music group led worship to traditional hymnody accompanied by an organ.

Getting Married at St Mary's

Congratulations on your engagement! Weddings are some of the happiest things that take place in church, and we are always delighted to be approached by couples wanting to get married, even if they don’t yet have any connection with St Mary’s.

St Mary’s is a beautiful church and as such is a wonderful setting for a wedding, but we also hope that we provide more than just a good background for your photos.  Our aim is to give you a wonderful and memorable service, and to help you prepare for a strong, life-long marriage together.

Explorers: Parent and Toddler Group

Explorers is our new parent and toddler group.  It runs every Tuesday during school term time, and if you have a young child you would be very welcome to bring him or her along.  For more information contact Debs Hunt.
 

Cheese and Wine

"Cheese and Wine" is for people in the 20's to 'not-quite-middle-aged' age group, and it exists to help you to live out your faith at work and at home, to get to know other people at St Mary's who are in a similar stage of life to you, to serve within the family of St Mary's, and to share your faith with others.  We meet roughly once a month for discussion, prayer, and of course some cheese and wine (and other things for people who don't like cheese or wine).
