Saturday 27th March (2:00pm) or any time after that – Easter Bake Along
Martha Collison of Great British Bake Off fame will walk us through making Easter egg brownies, while Ed Drew from Faith in Kids makes a mess and chats about the meaning of Easter for all ages. You can watch along and bake your own brownies during the premiere on Saturday or any time afterwards, when the show will stay on YouTube. Find the ingredients list and more info here.
Maundy Thursday (1st April – 7:00pm) – The Liturgy of Maundy Thursday from Southwell Minster
Whilst we aren’t hosting anything at St. Mary’s on Maundy Thursday you would be very welcome to join the service from Southwell Minster at 7:00pm. More details, including how to access the service, are available here.
Good Friday (2nd April – 10:30am) – Family Easter Escape Room
Your family is invited to join us for the Free Barabbas Escape Room, an online home adventure with puzzles and challenges themed around the Easter story. It is aimed at 8-12s but suitable for all ages to join in. We’re running this on Zoom on Good Friday 2nd April at 10:30am, to book your place contact Kate or you can download the PowerPoint here to host it yourself.
Good Friday (2nd April – 12:00pm) – An Hour at the Cross
This quiet and reflective service will include some readings from the Bible, reflections, music and lots of time to meditate, think and pray by yourself. Click here to book your place to join us in person or watch the livestream here.
Easter Sunday (4th April – 10:30am) – Celebration Service
Join us for our Easter Sunday celebration service, either in person in the building or online. The first part of the service will be geared to children and then later on we’ll be looking at how the resurrection provides the firm foundation for faith and life that we all need.
